BY ROAD
Easy connections to the main north/south
routes (A23-A24-A29), as well as the cross-country roads (A27-A272). The South
Downs Light Railway is located within the Wyevale Garden Centre, Stopham Road, Pulborough.
The garden centre is approximatly 1 mile west of the A29 on the A283 towards
Petworth, there is plenty of FREE on-site car parking for your convenience.
BY TRAIN
Pulborough Station is served by Southern
Railway trains from Victoria and the South Coast. The South Downs Light Railway
is located within the Wyevale Garden Centre, which is on Stopham Road,
Pulborough and is about a mile along the A283 from Pulborough Station towards
Petworth.

JOIN US
The South Downs Light Railway is wholly
owned & operated by the members of the South Downs Light Railway Society,
members also individually own all the locomotives & rolling stock on the
line with the exception of the new Exmoor Steam Railway built 0 4 2 T Pulborough,
which is jointly owned by the Society & a small number of members who have
bought shares.
As a society we are affiliated to the
Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies, who provide both our public
liability insurance and a Personal Accident Scheme for all members. In addition
we are members of the organisation known as Britains Great Little Railways.
We are always looking for new members to
join us & help build & run the SDLR, so if you have some time to spare
(however little) & fancy running a railway, why not join our happy band of
enthusiastic railway people (not railway enthusiasts). Annual Subscriptions are
£30 Family; £20 Full & £10 Junior (12 to 18, or older if in full time
